singer Kenny Sol will feature on a new album by Burundian music star Big Fizzo, adding another cross-border collaboration between two of the region’s established artists.
Big Fizzo announced Monday, Aug. 17, that Kenny Sol is among five artists from different countries featured on S.O.A: Son of Alkebulan, a 14-track album he said will be released in the coming days.
Kenny Sol appears on a song titled “Let Me Know.”

Kenny Sol’s appearance on the project comes as artists from Rwanda and Burundi continue to collaborate across the East African music scene.

The album’s 14 tracks will give Big Fizzo an opportunity to bring together artists from different musical backgrounds while strengthening his connections with performers in the region.
