Rwandan gospel singer Wema has released a new song, “Komera Imana ntibeshya izagutabara,” encouraging people going through difficult times to remain hopeful and keep their faith.
Wema said the song was inspired partly by her own experiences in her journey of serving God and what she has experienced along the way.
The song speaks to people who feel stuck in difficult circumstances and reminds them not to see their current situation as the end of their story.
“I would tell someone who is on the mountain to be strong. God does not lie; He will save you. Just have faith in Him,” Wema said.
She said she hopes the song will encourage people dealing with problems, sadness or other challenges in their lives.
The lyrics focus on God’s love, mercy and promise not to abandon those who trust in Him.
The song was written by gospel singer and songwriter Danny Mutabazi, whose work includes “Karuvali” and “Amarira y’Ibyishimo.”
Mutabazi has also written songs for gospel singers Vestine and Dorcas, including “Umutaka” and “Iriba.”
The track was produced by Popieh.
Wema said the new release is part of her continued work in gospel music and is aimed at listeners who need encouragement during difficult moments.
