Rwandan dancer and choreographer Sherrie Silver has added another international project to her portfolio after working with Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton on a campaign for luxury luggage brand Rimowa.
Silver shared photos and video from the project on social media on Sept. 21, showing her directing Hamilton’s movements as he posed and walked in front of the camera for the Rimowa campaign.
She described the project as another opportunity to work with the British racing driver, saying she is always happy to collaborate with him.
“During this Formula 1 season, I realised I never shared the latest project where I choreographed Lewis Hamilton’s movement with Rimowa. Always a pleasure working with this legend,” Silver wrote on Instagram.
Silver, who was born in Rwanda, has built an international career spanning dance, film, music, fashion and entertainment. Her work has included collaborations with artists and projects outside Rwanda.
She has also worked with Rwandan musician The Ben, contributing to the choreography for his song “Suko.”
Beyond commercial and entertainment projects, Silver founded the Sherrie Silver Foundation, which uses dance and other forms of art to support children and young people.
Hamilton, meanwhile, is one of Formula 1’s most successful drivers. He won his first world championship with McLaren in 2008 and went on to claim six more titles, matching Michael Schumacher’s record of seven championships.
He moved to Ferrari in 2025 after leaving Mercedes and continues to race for the Italian team in the 2026 season.
The collaboration with Silver adds another international project involving the Rwandan artist to her growing body of work across entertainment and fashion.
