Rwandan music producer Ishimwe Clement says choosing singer Butera Knowless as his wife remains the best decision he has made, as the couple marks 10 years of marriage.
The couple celebrate their wedding anniversary on Aug. 7, a decade after they exchanged vows in a civil and religious ceremony. Reflecting on their journey, Clement said their relationship has grown through both joyful and challenging moments.
“Ten years ago, we said ‘Yes’ without knowing what life had prepared for us. After all these years, I can honestly say choosing you was the best decision I have made in my life,” Clement wrote in a message shared on social media.
He said their journey has not always been easy, but love, trust and commitment helped them overcome challenges.
“We have had beautiful moments and difficult ones, laughter and tears. But through it all, our love continued to grow stronger than every challenge we faced,” he said.
Knowless also marked the milestone, revealing that their relationship goes beyond their marriage, as the two have spent 15 years together, including their dating years.
She thanked God for guiding their journey and for blessing them with children, describing Clement as her closest companion.
The couple has three children: Ishimwe Or Butera, born in 2016; Ishimwe Inzora Butera, born in 2020; and a son born on March 3, 2023.
Clement and Knowless remain among Rwanda’s most recognized entertainment figures, with Clement known for music production and Knowless celebrated for her music career.
