One of Rwanda’s most visible entertainment partnerships, that of Miss Muyango and DJ Brianne has officially come to an end, with both personalities choosing to pursue independent careers.

For several years, Uwase Muyango Claudine, known as Miss Muyango, and Gateka Brianne, popularly called DJ Brianne, built a strong reputation as a dynamic hosting duo.

Their joint appearances at events and on social media made them one of the most recognizable collaborations in Rwanda’s entertainment scene, often perceived as close beyond professionalities.

However, speculation about their split recently gained traction online, particularly on YouTube platforms, prompting questions from followers.

Speaking to Isibo TV, DJ Brianne clarified that the decision was not driven by conflict but by her long-standing ambition to work independently.

She explained that she has always wanted to test her individual potential and build her own brand, inspired by other hosts who operate successfully on their own.

She also dismissed rumors linking her to the breakup between Miss Muyango and her former husband, Kimenyi Yves, describing such claims as unfounded and insisting their relationship was strictly professional.

Miss Muyango, in an interview with RUA Rwanda, confirmed the end of their collaboration but refrained from discussing details.

She emphasized her preference for privacy regarding past professional relationships and expressed goodwill towards her former colleague.

Their separation reflects a broader trend in the entertainment industry, where collaborations often evolve as individuals pursue personal ambitions, marking new chapters rather than conflict-driven endings.
