Music executive Muyoboke Alex is expected to continue handling his role within singer The Ben’s working team, while Noopja is no longer expected to be part of the group involved in the artist’s daily activities.
The reported change follows a dispute between Muyoboke and Noopja, two figures who have been associated with The Ben’s music career. People close to the singer told IGIHE that the disagreement had become a source of concern for him, particularly as his name continued to feature in the dispute.
Under the reported arrangement, Noopja will remain friends with The Ben and could still work with him on specific projects, but will not be involved in the singer’s regular professional activities.
The disagreement is believed to have intensified over arrangements for The Ben’s planned appearance in Uganda at an event marking the 10th anniversary of Comedy Store, organised by comedian Alex Muhangi.
The event, initially scheduled for August 2026, was postponed following an Ebola outbreak in Uganda. The change in schedule also led to adjustments in the singer’s travel arrangements, including a reduction in the size of his accompanying team from seven people to five.
Noopja was reportedly left off the revised travel list, a decision attributed to Muyoboke. The development is said to have deepened tensions between the two men.
Sources cited by IGIHE said Noopja had wanted to accompany The Ben as a friend rather than fulfil a specific professional assignment. They also said the singer was unhappy with how Noopja reacted after being excluded from the group.
The Ben reportedly offered to cover Noopja’s travel and hotel expenses so he could still attend the Uganda event. However, the offer did not end the disagreement.
The singer has not publicly addressed the reported dispute. He is currently preparing for The New Year Groove, a concert scheduled for January 1, 2027.
