The cities also plan to exchange ideas and experience in culture, community relations and other areas of mutual interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Officials from both sides are expected to share approaches to improving services for residents and managing the challenges that come with urban growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Modi&#8217;in-Maccabim-Re&#8217;ut has developed experience in applying technology to city management and services, while Kigali has also been expanding the use of digital tools in urban planning and public administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The partnership is therefore expected to create opportunities for the two cities to compare solutions in areas such as planning, transport, public services and technology-driven governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The agreement comes as Kigali continues to develop as a growing urban centre, with technology increasingly being used to support planning and improve services to residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The two municipalities said the cooperation would provide a platform for continued exchange of knowledge and experience and for exploring joint responses to challenges affecting modern cities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kigali has entered into a cooperation agreement with Modi&#8217;in-Maccabim-Re&#8217;ut in Israel aimed at sharing knowledge and experience in technology, urban development and public services.
