Habyarimana said the campaign had been accompanied by a reduction in crimes committed by people who consume such drinks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/thedawnrwanda.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/55507416706_a227046f70_o-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3561\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thedawnrwanda.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/55507416706_a227046f70_o-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/thedawnrwanda.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/55507416706_a227046f70_o-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/thedawnrwanda.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/55507416706_a227046f70_o-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/thedawnrwanda.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/55507416706_a227046f70_o.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The prosecution service\u2019s analysis of cases handled during the year showed that theft and assault causing bodily harm were the most common offences. Together, they accounted for 49% of all case files received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Drug-related offences also featured prominently among the cases prosecuted.
