Supporters will only be required to present their existing shirt to Aston Villa staff from Friday, Aug. 7, when the new jersey officially goes on sale.

The decision ensures that early buyers will not miss out on the version of the shirt carrying the Visit Rwanda branding, which becomes part of Aston Villa’s new identity under its partnership with Rwanda.

The sponsorship agreement was signed on July 14 between the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) and Aston Villa as part of Rwanda’s strategy to promote itself as a global tourism and investment destination through elite sport.

Under the deal, the Visit Rwanda logo will appear on the front of shirts worn by Aston Villa’s men’s, women’s and academy teams. The branding will also feature across Villa Park and the club’s digital platforms, giving Rwanda year-round exposure to the club’s global fan base.

Beyond becoming Aston Villa’s Principal Partner, Visit Rwanda will also serve as the club’s Official Tourism Partner and Official Coffee Provider.

The new Adidas-designed jerseys featuring the Visit Rwanda logo will be available for purchase starting Friday, Aug. 7.

English premier league side Aston Villa will allow supporters who bought its 2026/27 home jersey before the addition of the Visit Rwanda logo to exchange […]

[43,41,36,42,27

post-2690","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-current_affairs","category-hot_topics","category-international","category-news_highlights","category-sports
["GET
