Its work includes funding clinical trials, supporting the development of new medicines and vaccines, and strengthening research capacity across Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The partnership prioritizes diseases such as malaria, HIV\/AIDS and tuberculosis. It also works with governments, universities, research institutions and international partners to improve public health through scientific research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Muvunyi will help guide the organization&#8217;s strategic direction as a board member. His role includes supporting efforts to strengthen research partnerships and expand clinical research across the continent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The appointment comes as Rwanda continues to increase its participation in global health research.
