The Pakistanis community in Rwanda, alongside diplomats, civil society members, students, and business community on Wednesday 13th<\/sup>\u00a0gathered at the Pakistan embassy in Kigali to celebrate the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq \u2014 a landmark event rooted in courage, discipline, and the unwavering pursuit of truth. Marka-e-Haq Day (Youm-e-Marka-e-Haq) is observed annually in Pakistan on May 10 to commemorate the success of Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, a military operation conducted in response to the 2025 India-Pakistan conflict. It is a day in honore of military victory, bravery, and national solidarity. While presiding over the event, the Deputy High Commissioner and head of Chancery , H.E. Pervaiz Bhatti emphasized the significance of this occasion as a testament of Pakistan\u2019s resilience and achievements in the face of adversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During his address, H.E. Bhatti stressed that Marka-e-Haq is more than a commemoration; it is a reflection of Pakistan\u2019s unwavering spirit, sacrifices, and unity. He paid tribute to the martyrs and their families, acknowledging their sacrifices that continue to inspire the nation\u2019s resolve to uphold peace, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Deputy High Commissioner also underscored Pakistan\u2019s well-coordinated military capabilities and visionary leadership, which have established the country\u2019s reputation for strength and determination on the global stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He reaffirmed Pakistan\u2019s commitment to peaceful diplomacy while remaining vigilant and prepared to defend its national interests. Central to this effort is Pakistan\u2019s unwavering support for the Kashmiri people\u2019s right to self-determination\u2014an issue that highlights Pakistan\u2019s role as a responsible and influential middle power dedicated to global peace and stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The celebration also featured insights from a celebrated Rwandan Professor Malonga, a renowned writer and researcher. Professor Malonga expressed admiration for Pakistan\u2019s diplomatic efforts, particularly highlighting how the country has played a mediating role in the ongoing tensions between Iran and the United States. Professor Malonga praised Pakistan\u2019s skillful diplomacy and its continued efforts to foster dialogue and stability in a complex geopolitical landscape, calling Pakistan a model of responsible mediation and international cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Merchant Ali, Chairman of the Pakistan Association in Rwanda, reflected on the first anniversary of Pakistan\u2019s historic victory during the Battle of Truth. He praised the courage and resolve of the Pakistani forces, which demonstrated unwavering patriotism and unity. This victory, he said, has rekindled national pride, inspiring the youth to pursue progress and development while reaffirming the core principles of unity, faith, and discipline laid down by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By balancing these two aspects, Pakistan aims to elevate its global stature, foster national pride, and work towards a prosperous, peaceful future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
