LHL is the largest indigenous BSE-quoted company with a current market capitalization in excess of BWP 5 billion (US$ 500 million) that places it in the top 40 sub-Saharan Africa companies (excluding-South Africa). Since inception Letshego Rwanda has been operating as a regulated credit only microfinance company. In 2013, Letshego Rwanda obtained a deposit-taking microfinance license from the National Bank of Rwanda.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Website:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.letshego.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">http:\/\/www.letshego.com<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>JOB ADVERT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Letshego Holdings Limited was incorporated in 1998; it\u2019s headquartered in Gaborone and has been publicly listed on the Botswana Stock Exchange (BSE) since 2002. It is an inclusive finance focused group with consumer, micro-lending and deposit-taking subsidiaries across sub-Saharan Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An opening has arisen within Letshego Rwanda Limited LRL for the below-mentioned position. This role is tenable at LRL. The incumbent will serve as a key member of the Country management team (CMC). The requirements of the role are outlined below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>POSITION: INTERNAL AUDITOR<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Reports to:\u00a0The incumbent will administratively report to CEO and Technical to the BoD.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Location: HEAD OFFICE( KIGALI RWANDA)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Purpose of the Job:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To lead the identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of credit risk across the organization by developing and implementing effective risk management policies, frameworks, and tools. The Credit Risk Manager ensures that lending and credit activities align with the organization\u2019s risk appetite and regulatory requirements while supporting sustainable business growth through sound credit risk practices and strategic risk insights<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Accountabilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Develops and ensure implementation of country Internal Audit strategic and operational audit plans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develops and manages internal audit policy documents, guidelines, and charters for adoption at country<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implements the Assurance Model within the Country through collaboration with the Risk and Compliance functions, External Auditors and Regulators to ensure appropriate assurance coverage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adheres to the International Internal Audit (IIA) standards for all internal audit activities concerning positioning, people and processes, with a critical view of achieving and maintaining conformance status.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Executes approved audit plans within the Country and report to the Country Audit Committee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Presents Internal Audit findings to the Board of Directors, Audit Committee and Country Management to determine recommendations to appropriate collective plan.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensures that Internal Audit reviews determine sufficient governance and control.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implement the strategies and policies approved by the Board, develop processes that adequately identify, measure, monitor and control Risks faced by the institution.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Experience and Qualifications Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>University degree in accounting, finance, business administration, Microfinance or Banking, Business Information Technology (BIT) or other related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have one of\u00a0professional qualifications ( CPA,ACCA,CIA,CISA Or CFE).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least 5 years of Experience.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Embrace the Group uniquenesses<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The job holder shall, at all times embrace Group uniqueness\u2019s set out below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Simple &#8211;
