It is a movement dedicated to uplifting young people. 10% of our profit goes directly to sending African youth\u2014including refugees\u2014to university, helping them access education, mentorship, and life-changing opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We work closely with the Government of Rwanda, along with public and private<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cl\u00e9za: Authentically Clean, Uniquely You \u2014 Building Africa\u2019s future through beauty and opportunity.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Role Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Head of Operations &amp; Finance is responsible for leading the daily execution and scaling of Cl\u00e9za\u2019s Rwanda operations. This role ensures financial discipline, manufacturing efficiency, and organizational coordination to translate the CEO\u2019s strategic vision into results. With a strong background in finance, operations, or FMCG, this leader will serve as the CEO\u2019s execution partner, ensuring that people, systems, and capital are aligned for growth and impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Strategic &amp; Operational Leadership<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Translate the CEO\u2019s vision into quarterly and annual operating plans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead business strategy development across production, distribution, and new market expansion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supervise Cl\u00e9za\u2019s entire manufacturing and operational systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure company-wide performance is aligned with KPIs and growth targets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Finance &amp; Cost Management<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lead financial discipline: budgeting, cost control, cash flow, and financial reporting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor unit economics, gross margins, and working capital.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee inventory planning and procurement efficiency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support grant budgets, donor reports, and financial compliance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Team &amp; Departmental Oversight<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Directly supervise all functional leads (production, sales, marketing, HR, admin).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate weekly ops meetings and staff performance reviews.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hire and mentor team members, fostering a culture of execution and accountability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Partnerships &amp; Communication<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Represent Cl\u00e9za in key meetings with partners, donors, and stakeholders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Draft reports, proposals, and presentations for investors and leadership.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liaise with public and private institutions to support expansion and compliance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>6\u201310 years of experience in manufacturing, FMCG, operations, or finance-led roles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven experience managing teams of 20+ and leading multi-functional departments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong understanding of cost accounting, supply chain, and production management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent English communication, report writing, and presentation skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience working with donors, NGOs, or impact-oriented organizations is an advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who You Are<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A strategic thinker with strong execution skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Financially disciplined, operationally rigorous.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Self-driven, trustworthy, and professional in representation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Passionate about youth empowerment and impact-driven work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reporting Structure<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All Rwanda-based departments report to this role.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Weekly check-ins and monthly reports submitted to the CEO.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What Success Looks Like<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Stable, scalable, and efficient operations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong financial oversight and cash-flow control.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Systems-driven processes replacing ad-hoc decisions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alignment between strategic goals and ground-level execution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Inclusive Hiring Statement<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At Cl\u00e9za Group, we are unapologetically committed to justice, equity, and inclusion.
