The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and ensuring the optimal performance of e-tractors while adhering to safety standards. The role also involves performing mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance to support the efficient functioning of our sustainable farming initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Key Responsibilities<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Operation &amp; Maintenance, perform basic maintenance tasks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Safely operate e-tractors charging stations and battery replacement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform regular checks and ensure the e-tractors are in proper working condition.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct routine and non-routine lubrication and general upkeep of the e-tractors and implements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct routine and non-routine lubrication and general upkeep of the e-scooters<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adhere to all safety guidelines and ensure compliance with operation and maintenance manual standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of e-tractors, e-scooters and implements to ensure operational efficiency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide regular maintenance and operational reports to his\/her supervisor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in training mechanization service providers on e-tractor operations and safety protocols.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work closely with the oversee technical team to address advanced mechanical issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Diagnose both electrical and mechanical issues and implement timely solutions to minimize downtime.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintenance and monitoring of safe operation of e-tractor attachments (implements, trailer,)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communicate with e-tractor and e-scooters manufacturers as per need.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform any other work assigned by supervisor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Qualifications and Experience<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>At least a diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Driving license Category A or F.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven experience on handling and using agriculture machinery including tractors and implements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least 2 years of hands-on experience in mechanical repair and maintenance, involving electric mobility units.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of tractor systems, basic battery management and electric motor operations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong knowledge electric mobility and electricity in general.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Skills and Attributes<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work independently with minor or no supervision.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent understanding of tractor operations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willingness to stay in rural area i.e Gashora sector Bugesera<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in agricultural environments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good communication in English, Kinyarwanda and teamwork skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Physically fit to handle demanding tasks in outdoor
