On the evening of 29 November 2025, Richard Nick Ngendahayo performed a historic concert at BK Arena, marking his return to Rwanda after many years abroad.
Unlike typical shows, he performed without many guest artists, singing his beloved songs that have touched Rwandans over the years.

The Niwe Healing Concert attracted a diverse audience, including youth, church members familiar with his gospel music, government officials, celebrities, and fellow musicians.
Ngendahayo rose to fame in Rwanda around 2005 before relocating to the United States, where he still resides. He returned to Rwanda on 3 November 2025 to prepare for the concert.
Popular songs performed included Mbwira Ibyo Ushaka, Ibuka, Gusimba Umwonga, Si Umuhemu, Yambaye Icyubahiro, Wemere Ngushime, Ijwi Rinyongorera, Unyitayeho, and Sinzakwitesha.
The concert began at 7:30 p.m. with warm-up performances by Agasaro Tracy and Dij Spiny, followed by his wife, Rene Patrick, who performed popular worship songs such as Adonai and Kadoshi Kadoshi.
Ngendahayo was warmly received by the audience.
He performed hits such as Yambaye Icyubahiro and Ijwi Rinyongorera alongside his band, which included veteran gospel artist Gaby Kamanzi.
Ngendahayo shared that all his songs are gifts from God rather than personally written compositions, crediting divine inspiration for his music.
He recounted a spiritual vision of Jesus in Israel in 1999, which has guided his ministry for 25 years. He also acknowledged Pastor Julienne Kabanda, who has supported him through challenges, co organised the concert, and preached to the audience during the event.
The concert concluded around midnight with the songs Wemere Ngushime and Sinzakwitesha. Ngendahayo announced that he plans to return to Rwanda for another performance next year.
