Team Amani launched Africa’s first women’s UCI Continental Cycling Team, registered in Ethiopia with riders from Rwanda, Ethiopia, and East Africa.

Led by mentor Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio, the team aims to compete in major Grand Tours by 2028.

Focusing on African-based high performance infrastructure, coaching, and pathways, Team Amani seeks to dismantle barriers, develop elite talent locally, and position African women cyclists on the global stage. Racing in Europe begins in 2026, backed by long-term partners.
